Using a screen protector or screen shield is the best way to protect your screen. There are numerous screen protectors on the market, some more durable than others. Regardless of the surface, always place a phone facing up. Placing phones face down will eventually damage the screen. Even with an extremely durable screen protector, there may be sharp objects or particles that can tear the protector and scratch the screen.
